The Ontario Association on Developmental Disabilities (OADD) believes in the inclusion of people with developmental disabilities in all aspects of their lives.

Purpose

OADD exists to inform and support developmental services professionals at all levels by:

Encouraging member networking, collaboration and shared learning opportunities
Providing a forum for translating clinical, evidence-informed practices and research into applied interdisciplinary best practices

Mission

OADD promotes and supports research dissemination and evidence informed practice through collaborative networking and knowledge exchange in the field of developmental disabilities.

Vision

People with IDD are supported by knowledgeable professionals who provide innovative and evidence-informed services.

Membership Levels – Benefits and Fees

Membership levels are:

• Organizational (Gold, Silver or Bronze – for Agencies who wish to include all staff in the benefits of membership, Membership level is determined by annual budget

• Individual – for interested individuals

The Ontario Association on Developmental Disabilities is governed by a voluntary Board of Directors elected annually by the members of the organization.

Board members are elected for two-year terms starting immediately after the Annual General Meeting in which they are elected.
